Algeciras

Head towards the coast and discover Algeciras, one of the main towns of the Campo de Gibraltar. Its location overlooking the Strait of Gibraltar gives it a fascinating maritime character, with a busy port and views towards North Africa on clear days.

Explore the town centre, visit the local market, enjoy the waterfront and discover nearby parks and viewpoints. Algeciras is also a useful base for exploring the surrounding coastline and natural areas.

Gracias

Respondiendo a Fermin Jiménez.

I booked for one night and stayed three. The campsite is located amidst beautiful countryside and walking in the immediate area is very rewarding. The plots are big enough for a small or medium sized van and, with the hedges, private on three sides. Facilities are clean and tidy; great hot shower. Pasquale the owner is friendly and helpful. The restaurant was not open on the (weekday) evenings I was there but there are a few options in Jimena or in Los Angeles (yes) a couple of miles away. Recommended.
